Nolvadex is a drug prescribed for breast cancer
Nolvadex is a drug prescribed for breast cancer. It is also prescribed for preventing cancer from spreading to other parts of the body.
The drug has to be swallowed in empty stomach or with food. Care should be taken that the medicine is not crushed, chewed or broken. Once Nolvadex is prescribed, do not deviate from the doctor’s direction. Never stop the drug in the middle as it can only increase the risk of side effects.
It is always better to infom the doctor if you have any of the following conditions:
blood clots, high calcium or cholesterol levels, weak immune system, low white blood cells, cataracts and vision problems. If you have any of these conditions, the doctor may go for a dosage adjustment or may even not prescribe Nolvadex.
